Gauley Fest 2016

Let us know how it went! Swim confessions and carnage reports are welcome, but it's not fair to tell on your buddies!

Gauley Fest 2016

Post by guy66 »

WOW, not on did KessmanN orchestrate a fun filled trip that was run like a finely oiled machine, but he ordered us just about perfect weather!!!
Mix all of that with great rivers and wonderful friends and you got the definition of a killer time :!:
Envelope – Free stationary taken from the Marriott while on a business trip.
Snowflake address label – sent to me free and had to be used up.
Stained glass stamp – It was more then three feet away from me when I decided to get them so you know I didn’t see them clearly
Butterfly and Sunflower stickers on the back – Also free and required because the glue on the envelope was so old it no longer stuck.

Awesome weekend!!!
The weather was dialed in & it was great seeing the crew.
Have you swam with your kayak lately?

Grateful I could coordinate another great Gauley Fest trip with www.coastals.org. We had 20+ boaters on the Lower Gauley Friday and the New River Gorge on Saturday. There were trips on the Upper Gauley and Upper New over the weekend as well. A big thanks to Steve Wiegandt for his help in making this year a success.
