I'm on the Calendar to lead a trip this coming Saturday Feb 12-with no rain in the forecast, opportunities might be limited.
My thoughts lean towards the Staircase of the Shenandoah, should be a good level by Saturday. Option 2 is always the James, I'm open to an upper/lower combo but prefer just the lower at the forecast level. The Appomattox has been suggested, it's running, I'm open to that as well Weather.com is calling for temperatures in the 50' in Harper's Ferry, over 60 degrees in metro RVA.

We will paddle the lower James, meeting at the takeout 11 am
