South Anna Saturday

Post by martha james »

Anyone interested in a run on the South Anna on Saturday? It isn't extremely high but has enough water for a pleasant trip. Post here if interested and we'll set a time.

We'll meet at 10:30 at the take out on Rt 54. We have thunderstorms heading this way so that should be a plus for level of the South Anna.

S Anna Paddle

I am new to this site, I'd like to join (me and my partner Marc). I don't know exactly where the meeting spot is, can you provide more info? Mind if we join up?
Any idea how long the paddle will take?
Thanks

Okay, so I'm a member, paid the $20 - don't know how quickly Coastals will be notified, so what do I next to get paddling? :?

Just come on out to the South Anna River. The take out is on Rt 54. Take the Ashland exit off of 95 and keep driving thru the town on 54. When you cross the river, the take out is on the left. It might be 7 or 8 miles on 54. We'll probably be off the river by 3:00. see everybody tomorrow at 10:30.
