Post by bambam »

I don't have any plans to go there but thought folks might be interested.

This from the folks at the dam:

We are planning to have a Water Quality release from Jennings Randolph Lake on August 28-29, 2010. We plan to release a flow of 850 to 1000 cfs for about 30 hours beginning on Saturday morning and continuing until early Sunday afternoon. The actual release rate will be determined a few days before the release. This planned release could be cancelled if there is a high water event in the next few weeks.

The 2010 release schedule for Jennings Randolph Lake has been posted on the public website:

http://www.nab-wc.usace.army.mil/northBranch.html

This page also includes three day projections for daytime release rates for Jennings Randolph Lake and Savage River Dam. Scroll down to find the release schedule.

So is anybody planning to run it this weekend? It’s a great step up for all those folks who have mastered the lower James at low water.

I was thinking about bringing K-man out on sunday. I am not familar with the run, so I am not sure if it is too challenging for him. The hardest thing he has done is the Upper New (Cunard takeout) walking Surprise. He has a dependable wet exit. He is still learning about eddylines.

K-man=10 year son.

Thanks
Love rhino

You're gonna have to feed the poo out of that boy if you want him that big :!:

I miss Juggy...tear
Envelope – Free stationary taken from the Marriott while on a business trip.
Snowflake address label – sent to me free and had to be used up.
Stained glass stamp – It was more then three feet away from me when I decided to get them so you know I didn’t see them clearly
Butterfly and Sunflower stickers on the back – Also free and required because the glue on the envelope was so old it no longer stuck.

Matt, does Killian know how to take naps and walk around with a big puss on his face? What about a green poof jacket? Does he have one of those?
