You are both welcome to come.
I have some interest from another newbie I don't know, so I asked him to fill out the referral forms in triplicate and get them back to me for processing, with a 6 to 8 week turnaround time.
No, seriously - we'll probably have two newbies on this trip. Any other vets in?
[EDIT: I completely forgot Kessmann will be there - disregard - everything will be all. right.]

Don't forget the hair sample drug test and background screening, including a DNA scan.
I used to be a paddler, now I just play one on the Innaweb.
Ok, so I'm new and foolish but what about the water? I know I don't want to be on the water much over 6ft for now but what about on the other end? Is there a low that is no-go level?

It’s not the goal in the end that makes life worthwhile; it’s the savoring the marrow of every moment.
Looks to be just under 4'. I don't know that there is a no go low. This summer was one of the driest on record and folks paddled it at right around 3.2'. 4' is almost twice as much water then 3.2'

That is the kind of math my wife uses on me when she is trying to justify something.
What does Karl know about math? He is a "Manager of Financil Planning and Analysis" or some crazy title like that. This means he makes numbers mean anyting that suits his needs and drives poor sales people crazy trying to hit a moving target. He should be used to fuzzy math!
Have a fun time on the river. I am not hitting the water again till the ears are free of infection. Have had dual middle ear infections since the Lower Yough trip. Two rounds of antibiotic and steriod treatments. Pray this is the end. Today I am learning to clip and unclip quickly from the mountain bike on a very easy trail.
