An inch of rain is forecast for the Blue Ridge for this Friday with weekend temps in the upper 40's.
I'll post here if it looks like it will amount to anything.

How about Balcony at least, and if the level allows, go up the Maury as far as levels permit?
Of course Whitetop might run too.

I have to work, so that's a guarantee it will rain and all the cool fun stuff will run!

How about Balcony putin at 11:30 Saturday and takeout at 12, with revisions if the level elsewhere is worthwhile?
Ice storm expected in these parts on Friday.

Nary a drop of rain so far so still on the edges of our seats.
Hoping for Goshen to keep it simple while watching Cranberry which is primed and also facing mild temps.

So far the rain we received is mostly frozen to the trees. The Cranberry is still dropping and the Maury is only showing a small blip up. Still raining a little. Ain't looking too promising -- maybe Gromit took tomorrow off?
Wait and see .....

I will be in the Lexington area tomorrow morning and will have my boat and gear with me. Please give a call if anyone is going to get on the Pass.
I can get there by 11am or so.
Thanks,
Shawn

We’ve gotten a crap load of rain in Richmond, which does not help the river and makes the trails too wet to ride.

I'm all about running the maury tommarrow if it continues to go up. 363 right now and heading straight up. I'm down for a run if it is at least 500.
