Goshen pass - First timer
Hi All! I'm new to this board, but I've been paddling for about 2 years now. I consider myself a solid intermediate and I'm very comfortable with my roll at this point. I was definitely hoping to do the Kitchen this spring so I was wondering if anyone was going out to Goshen this weekend or sometime soon. I'd love to tag along with some people who have done it before. Thanks!

Will post tomorrow's trip under a separate thread. Please feel welcome.
Directions to what we call "the ledges", um, come to think of it, no idea where you are coming from but here's how I get there:
Take I-81 to exit 200 route 710 at Fairfield. Turn right at the bottom of the ramp and note this is your last chance for a pit stop. It's fifteen minutes from here to the ledges. 710 makes a giant long right turn and then you turn left on Swope Road at a VDOT depot with lots of orange plows. Up an over a big hill to stop. Turn left on 252. Stay on 252 for several miles to turn right on 39. 39 through Rockbridge Baths, cross the river, and go upstream about half a mile to a long, as in big enough for a dozen vehicles, gravel pull off on the right.
Might be windy.
