Saturday morning 9/27

Post by HVNORL »

Anyone going out to enjoy the rising water level in the morning?
It was impossible, so I did it. Now everyone can do it.

If you're doing two runs I may make the 9:30 run.

Upstream gauges show that river is still rising (no plateau yet) so shouldn't drop too much and may rise!

Still meeting at 7 a.m.? 1 or 2 laps?

After the last run in the new boat, I'm not sure how much more polyethylene I can spare - especially with RockMagnet driving!!! :D No problem, I'll bring the whole Pyranha stable with me. See you at 7am @ 14th street.

P.S. - I'm planning on doing two runs, so Pete's rental fee is a mandatory second run. 8)
Generally, I think that if I have the opportunity to paddle, and I've got something else to do or I feel like I shouldn't go for some reason, then I force myself to go and I always have a great time. So, I guess when in doubt -- Go, Paddle. -- Tommy Hilleke

No need to bring the boat Brandon. I will stick with mine while the water is low since rocks and I do get along. Someday i will give it a shot but not tomorrow. See you there.

Enjoy the river tomorrow, would be joining you if I didn't have to work. Be careful, this rain had some bad karma with it. 5-6 bad car wrecks with entrapment this past day that I heard, and that was after it stopped raining. More than I've seen for one storm.
Take care,
Antoni
