The air temp should be nice and warm, so it should be a good day to be out on the James. I am thinking about joining, just got released to go kayaking again, but might wait till the water warms up a bit. I have not been in over 4 months and I am itching bad, but I think the pro move for me is to get some flat water practice rolls and strokes before I hit up Downtown. I will try to be out to take some pictures on Friday if nothing else. Be safe and have fun

weather
Chris, et al. Let's keep an eye on the weather before we commit to going. If its going to rain, then its not really worth it in my book (since I'm driving from Charlottesville). I'll post here tomorrow afternoon about whether this is on or not.
Chris, will you reply so I know you got this post?
Thanks!

a couple other cville boaters and myself will be boating Friday, though one may catch up later as he has to work till 12:30. Hopefully it will rain early enough to go to Goshen or Nelson county instead, will wait and see... did nobody from O@uva sign up? Call Thursday and we'll see how things look...
Prolly too late to catch you Chris, but I'm planning on hitting it today at 4pm if Shaggy can make it. Maybe a three lapper for you
Generally, I think that if I have the opportunity to paddle, and I've got something else to do or I feel like I shouldn't go for some reason, then I force myself to go and I always have a great time. So, I guess when in doubt -- Go, Paddle. -- Tommy Hilleke
