Come out on SATURDAY!!!

Post by Wallace »

Gromit and I would like to paddle on Saturday 2/28 around noon. We have invited Attilla the HUNgarian. I have most of the gear, but he's still gonna need a helmet and pfd. If any of you have extra, please bring it along. Thanks!!! See you on the river!

Given the current weather forecast, I doubt that this open boater will be on the river on Sat; however, I do have some gear that Atilla can borrow. Items of potential interest include, adjustable type III pfd that will fit nearly anyone and pro-tec helmets (several sizes). I also may have a wetsuit that will fit (also various sizes). Not sure of my schedule on Sat, but if these items are needed, contact me via pm and we'll work something out. (Wallace, you'll have to take care of the kayak b/c I certainly don't have one of those -- although I do have a two-bladed paddle!)

I'm in, if anyone is interested in making an earlier run and/or a later run I'd be down....I'll basically just be hanging out at the take out all day......I'll have ice cream....and beer.

If the weather man doesn't improve his projections Gromit may veto the trip. Stand by for more. Check this thread on Saturday morning for the GO - NO GO.

I agree with the weather comment. I still feel warm from the past several days of warm weather, so it seems warmer than it is. See you at noon.

You'll have to go without us. Sorry.

Atilla, we'll get you on the river yet. Let me know when you can go and we'll round up the gear again.

Mike D, I have your ball cap and the pfd and helmet you loaned me. If you need it, swing by the house.

You made it easy for me to stay home and do my expense reports. Let me know if you go out next weekend.

Good food there like you said. Sorry to miss you all.
