Fri evening update
Weather forecast is now for low to mid 50s tomorrow. Rain tonite til about 3am, then a break in the rain til noon-ish. Could be heavy rain/T-storms by late afternoon (4pm ish?). Maury is 2' USGS (about 9" on the bridge - I had a visual @ 5:30pm.) SO . . . tonite's rain could bring it up to runnable for the Pass. We should @ least be able to run the lower section of the Maury below the P.O. (would like to see USGS 2.1' or 10-11" on the bdg for that). Ken & I have run the Pass @ 13" - pretty technical but slow - boat control is critical @ that level.
So . . . it may not be raining while we're picking up trash, but probably will be after lunch when we want to boat. Again, we'll just have to decide on what we're paddling tomorrow, based on the river level & the weather. We should have enough folks to do both the Pass & the lower section if the level/weather cooperate.
