Right, I'll give you a shout, see how things look weds am, Looks like hitting some local tribs might be good. Gooney is still 120 CFS, ahem, same distance from Richmond as Goshen... (I swear, if Corbett still worked in my building I'd have something to say to him about him scaring everyone away from that run).

I do agree that Corbert basicly describes Gooney and Happy Creek as "Death Slaloms". I would love to add these creeks to my to do list if it is accessable to mere mortals such as myself. I will remember to contact you when I have time to get up to that area again and we have some rain at the same time. Dam the man for keeping me down.
Kayak-$1000 dollars...........Gas for the shuttle $60 dollars..........Watching your friends get munched by a bus-sized hole.......PRICELESS.

Va creeks

Post by jdub »

Lokks like the Bullpasture and Stoney creek are running right now so I was going to try to hit one of those this weekend if you guys are interested. The Bullpasture looks a little bit more relaxed, but the stoney looks a little faster and more tech.
