Upper James 8/24 Monday @2:45 Reedy- newbies welcome

Since the river spiked up last night, I'd be up for heading down the Upper for some exercise and fresh air today/tonight. I'm up for a mid-afternoon paddle or an after-work paddle, anywhere from 2-6PM start. As long as the river doesn't drop. Let me know if anyone wants to join in.

Hey John:
I would love to join you again, but have already made plans for after work. If the river holds up, would you want to go again on Wed after work? If anything changes today I will let you know.

Robbie, unfortunately tonight is my free night. They are rare, so I figured I'd take advantage of it. I am doubtful that the river will hold until Wednesday. There is a chance it won't hold until dinnertime tonight. We'll see.

I was going to send you a message directly to invite you. Glad you saw the post, and sorry you can't join in. Let me know if things change for you.

Jay and I plan to go out this afternoon but don't know the time yet. He has a lunch that's also a quasi-interview but doesn't know how long it's gonna go. I'm expecting him to call about 2 to let me know how things stand. Love to paddle with you again. How about you call me--276-7013--a bit after 2 and maybe we can hook up.

Oops! You're not the John we paddled with before. I sort of remember you tried to join a UJ run with John from Dinwiddie but that didn't work out. In any case let's see if we can hook up today.

I'm game. Been talking w/wetgeezer about this since yesterday. I'm hoping to be free by 2 or 3. Leaning a tad closer to 2:30.

Is this cool? Or do you want to set a better time? Either way, just post it and I'll be there.

How about Meet @ 2:45, be on river just after 3?

We did paddle together recently on the Upper. I'd love to get together. The weather is delightful today. I'll PM you my phone number, and get my gear together. Just let me know. I'll post here the time we settle on in case anyone wants to join.

Turns out that the wife's office is having a bad day.
It started out with non-working HVAC and now a pipe broke in the lobby.

Long story short, we should have 1 more for today's run!
