OCT Lower YOugh October 31, November 1
We will be meeting at the put-in in Ohiopyle at 10:30 EDT Saturday 10/31 and 9:30 EST on Sunday 11/1. Dave K has offered his house in Friendsville (AKA the Triple K ranch) for camping. Let me know if you need directions.
No permits are required as the Yough runs free after the third weekend in October.

Email me and I'll give you the address.

You'll have to talk to Shaggy if you want the Ex Super Secret P-R-O Shortcut though.
Envelope – Free stationary taken from the Marriott while on a business trip.
Snowflake address label – sent to me free and had to be used up.
Stained glass stamp – It was more then three feet away from me when I decided to get them so you know I didn’t see them clearly
Butterfly and Sunflower stickers on the back – Also free and required because the glue on the envelope was so old it no longer stuck.

I will be in attendance and staying at the Triple K ranch. Is anybody arriving early on Friday?
I will also be there, minus Wallace as he has to work.
or is it
?
I plan to drive up Friday after work and come home Sat after the clinic. I know, that's lame, but I gotta date with my running buddy for 12 miles on Sunday to prep for the OBX half.
I too would like a small piece of floor to rest my head!
See yous there.

Looks like I'm "in" for both days. Gotta love it when work and play come together.

I could maybe be talked into it. What do you have in mind and please define "early".open boater wrote:I will be in attendance and staying at the Triple K ranch. Is anybody arriving early on Friday?
Is it too early to mention that puss-face thing?babewithblades wrote:JoAnn and Karl will be up Friday late and paddle with the crew on Sat. We'll paddle with the crew on Sat. See ya at the ranch.

Maybe you should have waited, at least, till he was on the road.bambam wrote: Is it too early to mention that puss-face thing?
Giggles and I will be coming up Friday after work, to the Triple K.
Paddling both days.
Look forward to seeing everyone.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming....WOW What a ride! . . . . . Trying to live up to this, Priceless. As long as you have good insurance!

You should stick around and just go running with Karl Saturday after the clinic and then boat on Sunday. Or you can help me carry plywood upstairs.Gromit wrote: I gotta date with my running buddy for 12 miles on Sunday

Looks like Karl will have some options other than the LY. Might be a puss face free weekend.
I've been asked by a few folks who are staying at the house - the house could use powdered dishwashing detergent and coffee for sure. A buck or two in the honesty jar for heating oil wouldn't hurt, eitehr.

Thanks and looking forward to it.
