Just FYI - the Ledges takeout is actually about 0.9 miles west of where Rt. 39 crosses the river. The parking area is adjacent to a private gravel road named Island Lane.

Swami,

I'm your huckleberry! If I can get back in time to shave and be at work at 6pm I'll get one of my guys to cover the AM. I'm pre-volunteering you for driving, tho

BTW.. without Google please-what is a Huckleberry?

Hey Guys, I'm new in Charlottesville and have been dying to run the Maury. I can make it on Sunday. If the plans are still a go, could someone provide more detailed directions to where and when you will meet (putin or takeout). Never been there before. Thanks!
