Corner Sunday Evening

Let us know how it went! Swim confessions and carnage reports are welcome, but it's not fair to tell on your buddies!

Corner Sunday Evening

If a picture is worth a thousand words, this video has to be worth a few pictures...

And yes I am fine.

Ouch! Glad you're okay. Based on the video, I'd like to offer a word of caution... once you're out of the boat, it seems like your feet are pretty low in the water, even trying to stand at times. This could lead to a foot entrapment which is particularly dangerous when the water level is above your knees. It is better to either swim aggressively (head first with feet kicking on the surface) or assume the defensive swimmer position (on your back, head upstream and feet on the surface).

Sorry about the public critique, but I wouldn't want you or anyone else to get hurt out there. It is truly meant with only the best of intentions.
Generally, I think that if I have the opportunity to paddle, and I've got something else to do or I feel like I shouldn't go for some reason, then I force myself to go and I always have a great time. So, I guess when in doubt -- Go, Paddle. -- Tommy Hilleke

In Nate's defense(on everything but the swim, Big Bird) he was smearing, boofing and basically leaving plastic on everything he could get close to!

The link to your vid is saved in my phone and has been shown quite a few times! Only because you're safe to tell the tale. Good weekend, Nate. Glad you're rippin' it up!
