I work most weekends, usually off Mondays-Wednesdays. Looking to befriend some local people who paddle those days and could help show me some rivers, up to class III water. I plan on taking one weekend off a month for an organized Coastals float but the majority of my boating will be the beginning of the week. Happy paddling guys! feel free to PM or reply here
As it happens, I'm often off during the week. I will post up here when I'm gonna paddle. Feel free to join up. SYOTR.

Dake - How often are you getting to the river? My wife and I like to go once a week atleast. We are new to the area and need to learn the lines. Hope to see ya on the river! -Quentin. I will post anytime I have the time to paddle
hello all. i live in staunton and am usually willing to travel a few hours. glad to see this topic churn up some response. as far as the list goes, this is it. i will continue to post on the weekday paddler thread when i have days to paddle. ie.. i will be free this tuesday 3/6
Usually not available for much weekday paddling but it's Spring Break, and I prefer chilly whitewater to sun and sand. I'm available all week, and I'll jump in on a run Tuesday.
Balcony Falls, Maury, Bullpasture should all be running Tuesday, so anything is fine with me. I'll stay tuned to see what the decision is.
Hi guy's. The Maury is holding water well.Lets meet at the post offfice at 11;30. Got a unknown group, so I am thinking of putting in above lava falls and take out at copper rd. Couple of class three's and lots of 2+.Open boats will need flotation, and dress warm.We should be in the water by 12;15 and have the warmest part of the day.Probably off the water by 3;30. Right now ,here in Craig its snowing and blustery.Wednesday looks to be in the upper 60's, and Balcony is raging...we will talk of thisw on the river....Dake 540 864 6704
