Would like to paddle LJ &/or day trips Thurs, Fri, Sat

I am not a member of the Coastals, but am a seasoned class IV paddler. I will be in Richmond Thursday through Saturday and would love to paddle the Lower James &/or any river near enough for a day trip (would need to be back in Richmond by 6 pm if doing a day trip). If you need me to name drop, please let me use Sejal Kinker and Ken Dubel as references. Thanks in advance.
