I will be there
I 'd like to paddle on Friday. Both the Cheat Narrows and Cheat Canyon would be PFD for me.

The date provides a big conflict for me. As vice president of and a member of the Roanoke Master Gardener Association plant sale committee, I'll be tied up that Saturday at our bi-annual plant sale, so VP trumps SEC and, I again, will have to hope that someone volunteers to take notes. So sorry to miss out on some good paddling (and note-taking!)!

Getting stoked to get back on the UY.

Lindsay and I are confirmed thursday night through Sunday. I haven't nailed down a specific schedule yet but here's what I've brainstormed:
UY Advanced Kayak - Definite. Releases Friday and Sunday right?
Cheat Race - Definite.
Novice/Intermediate MTB trip - Definite. Thinking UY trail but only because thats the only one I know of. Open to suggestions here.
Cheat Narrows Novice Kayak - Possibility
Cheat Canyon Intermediate Raft - Possibility
LY Intermediate Raft - Possibility
Natural Flow Permitting:
Local Creeking
Kastleman intermediate kayak
Additionally, while I'm on the UY and/or doing the cheat race Lindsay will probably be looking to MTB or novice kayak.

I'll be there.
Planning on Thursday - Sunday. Dance card TBD, but looking forward to some UY/TY/LBS.
Generally, I think that if I have the opportunity to paddle, and I've got something else to do or I feel like I shouldn't go for some reason, then I force myself to go and I always have a great time. So, I guess when in doubt -- Go, Paddle. -- Tommy Hilleke

Here's my dance card (subject to change with with local flow).
Friday - MTB - Looking for suggestions on good novice/intermediate trails
Friday Evening - Cheat Race
Saturday Morning - Club Business Meeting
Saturday - Upper Yough or LBS depending on flow.
Saturday Evening - Cookout
Saturday Night - Cheatfest!
Sunday - Lower Yough Rafting
I have room for up to 3 more people with their own gear (PFD, helmet, and paddle at a minimum) in the raft on Sunday. (disclaimer... I have never guided a raft on the LY and I've only actually guided a raft maybe 3 times. Ride at your own risk)
Please If you want to paddle with us on the LY Saturday I suggest getting passes for the 11:00 hour. After a long pause while writing this post I've not been able to find the website where you can get the permits online. Maybe they are making you call now? If anyone has a link I would appreciate it if you can post it up here.
