OCT: James River in Richmond, Sat Oct 4

We will paddle the James from Pony Pasture put in to 14th St take out, with the option to take out at Reedy Creek. Rapids from Pony Pasture to Reedy Creek (~ 4 miles) are class II. From Reedy Creek to 14th St (~ 2 miles), rapids are class III-III+ (at predicted level of ~ 3.9 ft on Westham gauge). Plans are to meet at 10 a.m. at 14th St take-out, but we may also have a group meeting at Reedy Creek if there is a group interested in running only the upper section. Please let me know if you would like to go with us and where you would like to take out.
