OCT: Lower James in Richmond, Sun, Aug 23

This week's official club trip will be on Sunday due to better weather forecast (vs. Sat). Given the continued low water levels in the area, plans are to paddle the lower section of the James River in Richmond from Reedy Creek put in to 14th St take out (~ 2 miles). Rapids are class III (at predicted level of less than 4 ft on the Westham gauge). Please let me know by Sat evening if you would like to join us. Meeting time is 10 a.m. at 14th St take-out. Please be prompt.
